Love this district. Food hall has some interesting places and there are sit down restaurants. Lots of activities with bands some nights. Cool place to hang and some boutiques

The place is really nice and is close to the end of RTA blue line. An email to the property developer suggesting the addition of a hotel went unanswered. Nearby hotels in Beachwood. Be nice to be able to walk from a hotel to the district to get on Transit to downtown Cleveland.

It's cool, there a lot of ultra wealthy guys coming off the country club golf course next door. If that speaks to you. Otherwise there are a lot of good spots to eat for sure. It's like an outdoor food mall.

The Van Aken District truly feels like my home away from home. It’s one of those places where I can start the day with a great cup of coffee, knock out a few meetings with clients, and then come back later to enjoy dinner with my family. Everything is just so well done—the energy, the mix of spots, and the overall vibe. And of course, no visit is complete without stopping by Mitchell’s Ice Cream for a treat. Whether it’s work, family time, or just getting out of the house for a bit, everything about the Van Aken District is awesome.

This review is only for The Market because I haven't been around the entire District. This District is new and things are still opening up. The Market has a garage that connects but the doors don't automatically open so if you're in a wheelchair or have a stroller be prepared to figure it out. Inside is lots of space, a play area, plenty of seating and the shops & restaurants. The restaurant sizes remind me of a food truck sized place. I went after 7 and the bummer was most of the shops (coffee/soap/spices, etc) were closed and another restaurant was out of a couple of the popular choices. So if you plan to go, go earlier or on the weekend. I think this could be a nice meeting location vs having to go to Panera or Starbucks. There is also a brewery (or something similar-I didn't go in) that allows you to bring your own food and enjoy their beverages. I'm looking forward to trying out the natural soaps and the spices shops because they both smelled enticing from the outside.
